Who I Am
I am a retired Registered Nurse who was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, yet I have lived in many different locations, some as far as Alabama and Florida. After 8 years as a School Nurse in Gibraltar, Michigan, I took up my second love . . . writing. I started as a contracted freelance writer for the newspaper in Adrian, Michigan. From there I was contracted to write the 8-page Adrian city-wide newsletter, as well as being a marketing writer for ProMedica Health System. All were wonderful jobs that led into becoming an author. My work today is a book titled, Build Your History and Live It Joyfully - published by New Harbor Press. It will be on the market soon and available on Amazon and in all bookstores. Aside from authorship, I am an active member of the Presbyterian Church of America (PCA). My home is built on a beautiful 18-hole golf course community, situated in sight of the ninth hole tee off. From my patio, I love to silently cheer and criticize every golfer’s swing. Geese, ducks, and fish swim in the long rambling pond that flows throughout the golf community, and at the foot of my property. I’m busy building my personal history and living it joyfully.
